Kelly Clarkson just signed off of The Kelly Clarkson Show for the last time, ending her Daytime Emmy-winning talk show after seven seasons with an emotional episode that featured her two children, River and Remington.
The singer’s son and daughter joined their superstar mom for the final installment, which aired Monday (Aug. 31) and featured a special Kellyoke performance of “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters. And after seven years covering other artists’ songs for the segment, Clarkson performed a couple of her own: “Since U Been Gone” and “Stronger.”
“From the very first episode, music has been a cornerstone of this show,” she told her audience. “We’ve done over 1,000 Kellyokes, talked with hundreds of guests about songs that inspire their work and about everyday people who have the power of music transform their lives and the lives of those in their communities.”
According to E! News, River and Remington — who Clarkson had with late ex-husband, music executive Brandon Blackstock — also shared their favorite moments from the show’s run. “I like watching you shine every single day,” River told the Grammy winner, while Remington said, “I liked talking to Jason Momoa and singing ‘My Way’ with the band.”
With her kids by her side, Clarkson also delivered her final goodbye. “I loved being in your homes each day,” she said. “I loved seeing my kiddos grow up on this show as well. I have immeasurable gratitude for everyone: the crew, the band, everybody here — thank you so much.”

Clarkson announced in February that she’d be stepping away from her talk show following the death of Blackstock, who died at age 48 after a three-year cancer battle. “This was not an easy decision, but this season will be my last hosting TKCS,” she wrote in a statement. “Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives. This isn’t goodbye.”
The star will continue to work on other public-facing projects, including returning as a coach on this season of The Voice. She is up for outstanding daytime talk series and outstanding daytime talk series host at this year’s Daytime Emmys, meaning she’s been nominated in both categories every single year that she’s been hosting The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Prince Royce may be disappointed that his highly anticipated collaboration with Romeo Santos, Better Late Than Never, did not receive a nomination for the Latin Grammys on Wednesday (Sept. 16).
