La Fiscalía General de la Nación informó sobre la ocupación de cuatro bienes que harían parte del patrimonio del cantante Carlos Alberto Sánchez Ramírez, conocido artísticamente como Charlie Zaa, dentro de una investigación que busca establecer si esos activos tendrían origen en recursos relacionados con el extinto Bloque Tolima de las Autodefensas Unidas de Colombia (AUC).
La medida fue ordenada por la Sala de Justicia y Paz del Tribunal Superior de Bogotá, que acogió la solicitud presentada por el ente investigador para imponer medidas cautelares sobre los inmuebles. De acuerdo con la información oficial, las propiedades están avaluadas en más de 45.467 millones de pesos.
Los bienes corresponden a un centro comercial, un hotel y dos discotecas ubicados en Girardot (Cundinamarca) e Ibagué (Tolima). Las diligencias de ocupación fueron realizadas por funcionarios del Cuerpo Técnico de Investigación (CTI).
Según la Fiscalía, una vez culminen los trámites correspondientes, los inmuebles serán puestos a disposición del Fondo para la Reparación de las Víctimas.
Investigación sobre el origen de los activos
El ente acusador señaló que las indagaciones permitieron identificar una presunta relación entre estos bienes y recursos del Bloque Tolima de las AUC, organización armada ilegal que operó entre finales de la década de 1990 y mediados de los años 2000.
De acuerdo con la hipótesis de la Fiscalía, Diego José Martínez Goyeneche, alias Daniel, quien fue señalado como cabecilla de esa estructura, habría utilizado terceros para realizar movimientos de dinero e invertir en inmuebles con el fin de ocultar el origen ilícito de los recursos y evitar que fueran destinados a la reparación de las víctimas del conflicto armado.
Para sustentar esta tesis, las autoridades indicaron que adelantaron inspecciones judiciales, análisis financieros y registrales, peritajes contables y la recolección de testimonios, lo que permitió reconstruir la trazabilidad de los activos.
La decisión aún puede ser apelada
La Fiscalía precisó que las medidas cautelares corresponden a una decisión de primera instancia, por lo que las partes involucradas podrán interponer los recursos previstos por la ley.

El caso ya tenía antecedentes
Esta investigación ya había dado lugar a actuaciones judiciales. En julio de 2025, la Fiscalía solicitó medidas cautelares de embargo, secuestro y suspensión del poder dispositivo sobre estos bienes por sus presuntos vínculos con recursos de grupos paramilitares.
En respuesta a esa actuación, Charlie Zaa aseguró que colaboraría con las autoridades para demostrar el origen de su patrimonio.
«Estoy, como siempre, en total disposición de colaborar con las autoridades y entregar todas las pruebas necesarias para demostrar mi inocencia. (…) Todo lo que tengo ha sido fruto de ese trabajo honesto y constante».
Meses antes, en marzo de 2025, un magistrado con función de control de garantías de la Sala de Justicia y Paz del Tribunal Superior de Bogotá había decretado medidas cautelares sobre cinco propiedades, entre ellas el centro comercial El Oasis, establecimientos comerciales en Girardot e Ibagué y dos fincas ubicadas en Melgar y Girardot. Con la decisión más reciente, cuatro de esos inmuebles permanecen cobijados por las medidas judiciales.
La versión del artista
Durante el proceso, Charlie Zaa manifestó que el lote donde fue construido el centro comercial El Oasis fue adquirido a nombre de su padre con regalías obtenidas por su carrera musical a través del sello discográfico Sonolux.
Asimismo, sostuvo que el inmueble le pertenece en su totalidad, salvo dos locales comerciales que fueron entregados como parte de pago de una vivienda ubicada en Lagos del Peñón.
No obstante, la Fiscalía había advertido anteriormente que encontró inconsistencias relacionadas con la construcción del centro comercial, entre ellas la ausencia de planos arquitectónicos y estructurales, la falta del reglamento de propiedad horizontal que permitiera el desenglobe del inmueble y la inexistencia de registros financieros sobre los costos y gastos de la obra.
Mientras avanza el proceso, las autoridades continúan verificando el origen de los recursos con los que fueron adquiridos y desarrollados estos bienes para determinar su situación jurídica definitiva.

The Grand Ole Opry’s Opry 100 Honors is set to honor the life, career and legacy of the late Charley Pride on Sept. 22.
The event, held at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House, will feature performances from Opry members Darius Rucker and Pam Tillis, as well as Neal McCoy and Pride’s son, Dion Pride.
Mississippi native Pride, country music’s first Black superstar, was known for hits including “Kiss an Angel Good Mornin’,” “Is Anybody Goin’ to San Antone,” “Roll On Mississippi” and “All I Have to Offer You (Is Me).” Pride landed 29 No. 1 Billboard Hot Country Songs chart hits during his decades-long career and earned three Grammy Awards.
He signed with RCA Records in the 1960s and earned a career breakthrough with “Just Between You and Me.” In 1971, he was named the CMA’s entertainer of the year and earned two consecutive male vocalist of the year honors (1971-1972). Pride was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2000. Among his other accolades are the ACM’s pioneer award and the Recording Academy’s lifetime achievement award.
Pride made his Opry debut in 1967 and became an Opry member in 1993, when he was inducted by Jimmy C. Newman.
“The Grand Ole Opry held a very special place in my father’s heart, and our family is deeply grateful to see his music and legacy celebrated on the stage he loved so much,” Dion Pride said in a statement. “It will be an honor to perform alongside artists who admired him and to share his songs with the fans who have kept them alive for generations.”

Since the launch of the Opry 100 Honors series in 2025, the shows have honored other country music legends including Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, Charlie Daniels, Porter Wagoner, Bill Monroe, Minnie Pearl, Roy Acuff, Hank Williams, Little Jimmy Dickens and Don Williams.
