Donna Kelce, Travis Kelce’s mom and now Taylor Swift‘s mother-in-law, is the newlyweds’ first immediate family member to publicly talk about the wedding festivities that took place in New York City at Madison Square Garden Friday night (July 3).
Mama Kelce made an appearance at the city’s annual Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks event while she was in town to see her son, who’s the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, marry the pop superstar. Donna walked the Macy’s red carpet looking quite patriotic on Saturday (July 4), the day after the wedding, wearing an American flag tunic, white trousers, a red statement necklace and red-framed eyeglasses.
She took part in an interview at the Macy’s event, as seen in a video posted on the department store’s Instagram account.
Of course, Mrs. Kelce was asked about Taylor and Travis’ shindig — a late-night celebration at the famed Midtown arena with a reported 1,000 guests who’ve mostly remained tight-lipped about the details.
Instead of completely dodging the question, she did talk about the bride and groom’s big day. She just didn’t offer much of an inside scoop.
“I really can’t say a heck of a lot except it was magical, man. Magical,” Travis’ mom says on camera in the clip below.
The proud mom of two NFL athletes — Travis and his brother Jason Kelce, who was best man at the wedding — also shared a memory of how the Kelce family would celebrate Fourth of July when her sons were children: “I remember I used to take the boys down to Lake Erie and we would watch the fireworks in Euclid, Ohio, and we had the best time,” she said in the interview this weekend.

Swift and Kelce opted out of having a traditional wedding party with bridesmaids and groomsmen for their ceremony. The Life of a Showgirl hitmaker’s rep shared that the bride simply had her brother, Austin Swift, serve as man of honor while Jason stood by Travis as best man.
Adam Sandler officiated the wedding ceremony, which featured vows that Swift and Kelce wrote themselves. GMA’s George Stephanopoulos, who was in attendance, described the pair’s vows as “everything you would hope for — real, vulnerable, serious and silly, deeply loving.” Another guest, AMC CEO Adam Aron, spilled that their vows were “long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent and endearing explorations by each as to how they met, why they want to be with each other for all eternity, the promises they made in joining their much-beloved two whole families (Kelce’s and Swift’s) as one, and committing to their new mutual life together.”
Though the couple has yet to reveal a wedding portrait, or even a glimpse at Swift’s wedding dress, it’s been confirmed that the bride and groom’s looks were designed by Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections creative director Jonathan Anderson (who’s also the founder of menswear label JW Anderson).
Music icons Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney reportedly performed at the reception at Madison Square Garden, which is said to have been transformed with Secret Garden-themed decor.

Two soccer powerhouses meet in a Round of 16 knockout match today at the World Cup, as Mexico takes on England live from Mexico City.
Tonight’s soccer match pits El Tri against The Three Lions as they face off for a quarterfinal berth at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The winner advances to face Norway, who upset Brazil in an earlier match on Sunday. The halftime show, meantime, will feature Mana, as the band plays for the sold out crowd at the Estadio Ciudad de México (formerly Estadio Azteca). The anthem for tonight’s game: “Aquí No Es Así,” a well-known track by the Mexican band Caifanes.
Tonight’s Mexico vs. England World Cup match airs on FOX across the country, so you can tune into the game on TV through your local FOX affiliate. You can also find a Spanish–language feed on Telemundo. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. local time (8 p.m. ET) but there is a threat of rain so officials may delay the game if necessary.
Most basic cable packages will include FOX and Telemundo, but if you don’t have cable, you can also find a free stream of the England vs. Mexico game online.
Cord-cutters have a few ways to watch tonight’s World Cup match online, including ways to livestream for free.
TOP CHOICE
Our top choice is DirecTV, a live TV streaming service which lets you watch FOX, Telemundo and dozens of other live feeds over the internet.
The streamer offers the “MySports Genre Pack” with more than 20 sports channels that you can stream online, like FOX and FOX Sports, plus access to ESPN Unlimited. It goes for $49.99 per month for the first two months of service ($64.99 per month afterward).
Don’t want to commit? DirecTV offers a five-day free trial that you can grab here and get instant access to livestream the Mexico vs. England game on FOX or on Telemundo online for free.
EDITOR’S CHOICE
I personally use Fubo to livestream all my sports online and I’ve been using the streaming service to watch a FOX World Cup feed for free.
Fubo’s free trial gets you five days of free streaming online, so you can watch the Mexico-England soccer game tonight for free and keep the service for most of the matches this week too. Fubo lets you watch a free stream of the World Cup game on FOX or Telemundo and you can livestream it on your phone, tablet, computer or smart TV.

INTERNATIONAL FEED
Both DirecTV and Fubo carry a live Telemundo broadcast feed so you can watch the Mexico soccer game in Spanish online without needing cable.
But if you’d like to tune into the official Mexican feed — airing through TelevisaUnivisión and TV Azteca — you can use a virtual private network like ExpressVPN to set your location to Mexico and stream the local broadcast as if you were there.
Mexico and England are closely matched for tonight’s World Cup match though oddsmakers give a slight edge to the English team. This is Mexico’s 18th appearance in the World Cup and with a win today, the team will match the country’s best-ever finish, when El Tri made the quarterfinals in 1986.
England is one of the oldest national teams in international football, though they have only won the World Cup once, in 1966.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce received “really touching” marriage advice from Adam Sandler, who officiated the couple’s wedding, reveals Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid.
Kelce’s coach praised Sandler in an interview on CNN Sunday afternoon (July 5) — two days after seeing the bride and groom say “I do” — for doing a “phenomenal job” as officiant for their wedding ceremony. Reid also offered a glimpse at what the comedic actor told Swift and Kelce during the service.
“He said, ‘Kiss every chance you have, every day,’” Reid said. “‘Whether you’re going to bed or going to work or, you know, wherever, go ahead and kiss her.’ And I thought that was, in a simple way, in its simplest form, it really was touching.”
Reid added of Swift and Kelce, “I’ve had a chance to see them grow together, and that’s the most important thing, that there’s a love there, a sincere love.”
“Obviously, they’re different people, from different worlds, but they’ve come together to join hands, and they’re really special together,” the Chiefs coach said on CNN.
Swift’s rep confirmed that Sandler led the bride and groom’s ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City Friday night (July 3), though no details about what he said were shared at the time.
After Swift and Kelce exchanged vows, big screens on the exterior of the arena announced, “JUST&T MARRIED!”
By Saturday, some tidbits about the couple’s vows trickled in from guests who’d attended the event. The vows, which Swift and Kelce wrote themselves, were “everything you would hope for — real, vulnerable, serious and silly, deeply loving,” according to GMA host George Stephanopoulos.
The vows were “long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent and endearing explorations by each as to how they met, why they want to be with each other for all eternity, the promises they made in joining their much-beloved two whole families (Kelce’s and Swift’s) as one, and committing to their new mutual life together,” Adam Aron, CEO at AMC, recapped in a since-deleted social media post.
As of press time Sunday, those who weren’t invited to the wedding still await the first look at Swift and Kelce on their big day. Swift wore a dress designed by Jonathan Anderson, creative director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections; Anderson is also the founder/designer of menswear brand JW Anderson.
Sandler has previously been connected to both Swift and Kelce.
Kelce had a cameo in Sandler’s 2025 film Happy Gilmore 2, while Swift’s music has deep roots with Sandler and his daughters.
“Taylor’s so damn nice to my family and has always been,” he said in an interview last year. “She’s ridiculously nice to them and warm, and Travis is such a gentle, nice guy. Funny as hell. He’s like the guys I grew up with.”
Sandler also gushed over the pop star in an appearance on Travis and Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast in 2024, sharing, “I love what she had to say … what she meant to young girls, what she means to women, what she means to guys doing the right thing in life … I do get nervous around Taylor Swift, because I don’t want to f—ing blow it for my kids and say something stupid.”
Sandler’s favorite song by Swift is a sentimental track from Fearless that she acclaimed singer-songwriter wrote for her mother, Andrea Swift, for the album’s original release in 2008.
“Everything [my two daughters] throw on I love, but one of the first ones they threw on when they were young was ‘The Best Day,’” he told Billboard in 2024. “We connected with that when the kids were young. Every album, we listen the first day it comes out. There’s not a song they don’t know every word to.”
Maren Morris is ready to hit pause on touring.
During an interview with Today on Friday (July 3), the 36-year-old country-pop star revealed that her current dreamGIRL Tour will be her last for a while as she focuses on songwriting and spending time with her son. The brief trek wraps Aug. 15 with a show at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
“This is sort of my last tour for a bit, because I want to be able to free think more and be in the studio more, and just figure out what I want to say next,” Morris said when asked about making time to write. “It’s been 10 years of touring, so no real time to stop and truly be creative unless I carve out the time.”
Morris — who recently revealed the wedding favors she received from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s nuptials — appeared on Today to promote HERO: A Second Wind, the expanded anniversary edition of her 2016 debut album. The set peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, spawned the top five Hot Country Songs hit “My Church” and earned Morris a Grammy nomination for best new artist.
Released June 26 through Legacy Recordings, HERO: A Second Wind includes the newly recorded songs “Hard Liquor and Soft Rock” and “We Can’t Be Friends,” along with original demos from the HERO songwriting sessions.
After wrapping the dreamGIRL Tour, which features songs spanning her catalog, Morris said she’s looking forward to spending more time at home with her 6-year-old son and returning to the studio.
“I’m excited to home a little bit more after this run,” Morris said. “So we’ll do this string of shows, knock it out, and I’ll go home. My son is starting kindergarten and I really wanted to be off the road when that began. I’ll just get back in the studio and figure out what the eff happens next.”
One possibility for what’s next? Broadway. Morris has already branched into writing for film, co-writing “Kiss the Sky” and “Even When I’m Not” for DreamWorks Animation’s The Wild Robot in 2024. She said she’d also love to write music for a Broadway production.
“I feel like Broadway — it’s just a storytelling medium and you get more time,” the singer said. “So I would love to do something like that, write for a musical.”
Morris released her most recent studio album, Dreamsicle, in 2025.
