Sean “Diddy” Combs still has some people in his corner.

In a recent interview with Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM show Radio Andy, Mike Tyson revealed that the incarcerated mogul asked the retired boxer to talk to President Donald Trump on his behalf. Cohen asked if the two were “buddies” and if Iron Mike was “surprised by what happened with him.”

“Yeah, I’m friendly with Puff,” he said. “I was surprised that they went through so many lengths to get him. They used a 110-year-old rule to get him. That case 110 years ago, but they used it to get him. Can you imagine that? They took a 110-year-old case to get him a couple of months, a couple of years ago.”

He was also asked if the two have been in touch since he’s been in prison, and that’s when he said he was asked by Diddy to pass something along to President Trump.

“Well, I spoke with him once on the phone, yes,” Tyson said. “He wanted me to give a letter to the president.” Cohen then asked, “And did you give a letter to the president from him?” To which Tyson replied, “I did what he told me to do, yes.”

The “110-year-old rule” Tyson is referring to is The Mann Act of 1910 which prohibits the trafficking of women and the transporting of prostitutes.”

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard that Diddy reached out to the president with a letter. Earlier this year, during an interview with The New York Times, Trump said that the embattled mogul asked for a pardon through a handwritten letter, but told Newsmax that it may be “difficult” to pardon him because Combs criticized him while he was running for office back in 2016.

Diddy, who is currently serving a 50-month sentence on prostitution-related charges, is set to be released on March 8, 2028, barring any changes.

ROSÉ got some screen time at Bruno Mars‘ Los Angeles concert on Wednesday night (Oct. 7) — and SoFi Stadium was more than happy to see her.

During the final Los Angeles stop of Mars’ The Romantic Tour, the BLACKPINK star popped up on the venue’s big screen as part of the show’s “Angel Baby Cam” segment. The fan-favorite bit is essentially Mars’ flirtier take on a Kiss Cam: During “God Was Showing Off,” a camera scans the crowd for women to feature on the big screen as Mars serenades them, dances with them from the stage and plays up the moment for the stadium. ROSÉ danced along, blew kisses toward the crowd and smiled as thousands of fans cheered her on.

The moment progressed from a cute concert cameo to a brief sing-along. As ROSÉ appeared onscreen, the SoFi Stadium crowd began chanting along to “APT.,” her 2024 collaboration with Mars. The song’s recognizable hook turned the brief appearance into something of a mini-reunion for the two artists, who have spent the past two years sharing one of pop’s biggest collaborative hits.

“APT.” debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 in November 2024, giving ROSÉ her first top 10 as a soloist and making her the first female artist prominent in K-pop to reach the chart’s top 10. For Mars, the song was his 20th Hot 100 top 10.

The timing comes as both stars are flourishing in new eras of their careers. Mars released his fourth studio album, The Romantic, in February, making it his first solo album since 2016’s 24K Magic. The nine-track set debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, giving Mars his second leader on the chart.

Meanwhile, ROSÉ recently kicked off her next solo era with “New Trick,” released Sept. 18. The upbeat pop-rock track follows her debut solo album, Rosie, and represents a brighter, more playful turn from some of the emotional pieces on that project. The song was also co-produced by Amy Allen, who also worked with ROSÉ on “APT.”

Drake’s Spanish lessons have paid off. Karol G joined Popcast on Wednesday and raved about Drizzy’s ability to perform in Spanish on their “Ahí” collaboration.

“I love him singing in Spanish, and he does it so good that when I presented the song to him, he was like, ‘Should I do like a verse in English or something?’” she said. “And I was like, ‘You should do it in Spanish. You sound so good in Spanish.’ [He said], ‘Come and make me do it perfectly.’”

She recalled coaching Drake as he punched in his Spanish lyrics line-by-line, along with making sure he nailed the pronunciation of words like “rico.” “I tried to just play a little bit with his pronunciation,” the 35-year-old added. “It was so much fun; he’s amazing.”

“Ahí” landed on Karol G’s No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto album in August. The track peaked at No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Hot Latin Songs chart, while La Bichota’s LP hit the Billboard 200’s top 10 (No. 8 peak).

Drake previously practiced his Spanish on songs like Romeo Santos’ “Odio,” Bad Bunny’s “MIA,” For All the Dogs’ “Gently” with Bad Bunny, as well as Chino Pacas and Fuerza Regida’s “Modo Capone” and $ome $exy $ongs 4 U‘s “MEET YOUR PADRE.”

The 6 God pulled up to the Toronto stop of Karol G’s Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour and then joined the Colombian superstar on stage at her Houston show, where they performed the live debut of “Ahí.” Drizzy also stuck around to perform “Janice STFU” and “One Dance.”

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker sparked concern this week when he posted a picture of himself on a gurney in what looked like a hospital room. And while Barker didn’t offer any additional information in his first post, on Wednesday (Oct. 7) he provided some additional context on what sent him to the OR.

“I had surgery yesterday,” Barker, 50, wrote in an update on his Instagram Story in which he reclined in his hospital bed with wife Kourtney Kardashian laying right beside him. “My arm, hand and fingers have been numb since a show I played last month,” he added, without saying which show it was or if this was a new issue.

“I did a nerve test Monday after my show and turns out I needed a cubital tunnel release to fix the nerve,” he explained, of the surgical procedure used to treat a pinched nerve in the elbow that typically causes numbness in the hands or weakness/poor function in the hands.

Barker explained that he “wanted to get ahead of it and get it over with so that I can keep playing the way I play for a long long time. Should be good in a few weeks,” he promised. The post ended on a funny note, with Barker adding in an aside, “not sure why my wife looks so happy about this,” in reference to Kardashian’s smile in the snap.

This isn’t the first time the drummer has had a hand or arm issue to deal with. Back in 2023 he underwent surgery to repair torn ligaments and a dislocated ring finger he sustained during rehearsals, which led to Blink postponing some tour dates. In addition, in 2018, he developed dangerous blood clots in both arms, a staph infection and cellulitis, which also forced the group to call off some dates.

Barker will have time to heal as Blink are on a break from the road, with plans to return next year with a handful of European festival dates in June at Rock For People in Czechia, Rock im Park, Rock am Ring and Waldbühne in Germany, as well as I-Days IPPODROMO SNAI SAN SIRO in Italy, before wrapping up at Plentitude Arena in Paris on June 15.

Weverse Con Festival is heading to India.

HYBE’s flagship global music fest will stage its international debut next March in New Delhi. Indeed, the festival, set for March 27–28, 2027, will mark the first-ever edition of Weverse Con Festival outside South Korea.

The new two-day fest will feature “a diverse lineup of global, K-pop, and Indian artists across dynamic live performances and fan-centered experiences,” reads a statement from HYBE (formerly Big Hit Entertainment), the South Korean multinational entertainment and lifestyle platform conglomerate that has powered the careers of BTS, TXT, SEVENTEEN, LE SSERAFIM, ENHYPEN and others.

Superfan platform Weverse will join HYBE as a partner on the India fest, the lineup for which has yet to be announced.

“Weverse Con Festival India marks a new chapter in our ‘multi-home, multi-genre’ strategy and reflects our commitment to India as a key market in HYBE’s global growth,” comments Jason Jaesang Lee, CEO of HYBE.

“By bringing HYBE’s global capabilities together with India’s creativity, we aim to create a festival that expands our ecosystem through experiences that resonate with local audiences. We look forward to bringing fans together to discover a new universe of music and unlock an immersive journey where they can connect, celebrate, and explore new possibilities alongside the artists they love.”

The launch of Weverse Con Festival India will be seen as another sign that the country’s live music circuit is ready to take the next step. The world’s most popular market, India will welcome tours from Guns N’ Roses and Fred Again later this year, while Dua Lipa performed for Indian audiences in 2024, and the likes of U2 and Katy Perry toured pre-pandemic.

The forthcoming event is an extension to HYBE’s existing presence in the market through HYBE INDIA, which operates out of Mumbai and has been conducting nationwide auditions since earlier this year to form a next-generation global girl group, a hunt for Indian talent that make waves worldwide.

Tickets for Weverse Con Festival India will be available exclusively through BookMyShow. Details on the lineup and ticket sales will be announced at a later date.
