Some albums make you cry, some make you dance, and others apparently make you feel so much that your stomach can’t handle it. Just ask Hailey Bieber.

The model and Rhode founder recently showed love for Rosalía’s LUX, sharing a pretty enthusiastic reaction to the Spanish singer’s 2025 album on her Instagram Story.

“You know when an album makes you wanna throw up in a good way?” Bieber wrote with a smiley-face emoticon.

It’s a dramatic description, but truthfully anyone who has fallen headfirst into an album they can’t stop listening to probably knows the feeling. And when it comes to LUX, Rosalía laid all her cards flat for fans to get lost in.

Released in November 2025, the singer’s fourth studio album takes an ambitious approach to pop, weaving orchestral arrangements and classical influences into her ever-evolving sound. Recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Daniel Bjarnason, the project features a wide-ranging collection of musical collaborators, including Björk, Carminho, Estrella Morente and Yves Tumor.

Across its 15-track digital edition, LUX explores themes of spirituality, desire, heartbreak and transformation, with Rosalía delivering vocals in multiple languages. The result is a sweeping, adventurous record that pushes the boundaries of traditional Latin and pop music.

LUX also had a massive presence on the charts, debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 dated Nov. 22, 2025, earning Rosalía her first top 10 on the all-genre albums chart. The album also debuted at No. 1 on five different charts: Top Latin Albums, Top Latin Pop Albums, Classical Albums, Classical Crossover Albums and World Albums. That achievement made Rosalía the first artist to debut at No. 1 on all five charts simultaneously.

Getting Led Zeppelin to sign off on using “Stairway to Heaven” for a movie is no small feat. Greta Gerwig, however, managed to make it happen for her upcoming Narnia adaptation.

The filmmaker revealed that she personally met with Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant and guitarist Jimmy Page to secure the legendary rock song for the first trailer for Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew, which debuted Tuesday (Oct. 13).

“I was so moved that they allowed me to use this song,” Gerwig said during a conversation with Stephen Colbert at New York’s AMC Lincoln Square IMAX theater, held hours before the trailer’s online premiere.

According to Gerwig, the musicians connected with the heart of her film, in part because of their own love for the work of author C.S. Lewis, whose beloved fantasy series serves as the inspiration for the movie.

“They love C.S. Lewis,” she said.

The choice of “Stairway to Heaven” is more than just having a rock classic associated with the film. Gerwig described the song as an epic that explores themes of spiritual discovery, enlightenment and the possibility of losing one’s way — ideas that also run through The Magician’s Nephew.

Those themes come to life in the trailer’s climactic sequence, which features Meryl Streep voicing Aslan, the mighty lion at the center of the Narnia universe. As the Led Zeppelin classic builds, the cosmic creature takes shape in a spectacular burst of light, presenting a peek at the film’s psychedelic visuals that help bring the story to life.

Released on Led Zeppelin’s fourth studio album in 1971, “Stairway to Heaven” never charted on the Billboard Hot 100 during its original release because the band chose not to issue it as a U.S. single. Instead, the eight-minute rock epic became a radio staple and helped propel its parent album, Led Zeppelin IV, to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in December 1971.

The placement of the song gives the trailer a grandiose, magnetic feel that fits Gerwig’s vision for a story about the creation of an entire world. For a song that has remained a cornerstone of rock radio for more than five decades, its appearance gives a new generation of moviegoers a fresh introduction to both the classic head-banging song and charming fantasy world.

The film adapts Lewis’ 1955 novel The Magician’s Nephew, a prequel to The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Instead of just starting with the first-published book in the seven-part series, Gerwig chose to explore the origins of Narnia itself.

The filmmaker has spoken about her childhood affection for the fantasy stories and how their sense of possibility stayed with her into adulthood. When she learned Netflix had acquired the rights to the franchise, she pitched the project to the streamer’s co-CEO Ted Sarandos, emphasizing its sweeping themes of good, evil, life and death. She began writing her first draft in 2021.

Gerwig is bringing a distinctly musical sensibility to the fantasy world, too. Along with the trailer including Led Zeppelin, a pre-screening playlist showcased that there are rock and psychedelic influences that shaped the adaptation: David Bowie, The Rolling Stones and Todd Rundgren were among the musicians in the playlist.

The movie stars Daniel Craig, Carey Mulligan, Ciarán Hinds and Emma Mackey, who plays the formidable witch Jadis. David McKenna and Beatrice Campbell portray Digory and Polly, the young friends whose journey leads them into the extraordinary world of Narnia.

Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew will open in theaters on Feb. 12, 2027, before arriving on Netflix on April 2.

It looks like there’s no hard feelings between A$AP Rocky and FERG over the latter’s decision to change his name and the former’s subsequent comments regarding said name change.

FERG took to his Instagram feed to announce that the follow-up to his third solo album Darold is finished and put out an APB for a distributor. “I just finished my new album,” he wrote in a screenshot that he posted. “Who wants to distribute it?”

Rocky raised his hand, with the Harlem rapper hopping in the comments to congratulate his friend and seemingly offering up the services of his AWGE label. “U know where home is,” he wrote in a comment that included a red heart emoji. “Congratulations.”

The two have been going back and forth through the media recently after each has been asked about FERG dropping the A$AP from his stage name. While the decision hasn’t necessarily created a riff between the two old friends and collaborators, Rocky did express disappointment. “I saw a couple interviews where he was just like, he ain’t A$AP and he dropped A$AP from his name,” he told Apple Music. “That sh– bothered me but I ain’t gon’ hold it against him, and I wish him the best.”

FERG responded in an interview with Complex, saying that removing A$AP from his name was about growth. “I feel like that’s a personal thing for him,” he said about Rocky saying he was initially “bothered” by the decision. “You could feel how you want to feel, but at the end of the day, it’s like I got to follow my truth for sure and how I feel. And there’s nothing wrong with growing.”

As FERG gets set to drop his upcoming project, Rocky is gearing up to do his first Australia and New Zealand tour in eight years with five dates in December.

Sean Ono Lennon took to X over the weekend to clarify how his late father, John Lennon, provided for him and his half brother Julian Lennon before the former Beatles’ tragic murder in 1980.

Replying to a post on Sunday (Oct. 11) in which someone presumed, “One guy inherited most of the estate, the other largely cut out and forced to engaged in decades-long litigation in pursuit of a comparatively small share of it. Unbearably painful and enraging for the one, surely pretty darn awkward for the other. That they remain friends (and largely always were) is testimony to the redemptive power of being a chill dude with broad implications for the wider world.”

The comment was tied to a post from Sean a day earlier of the Lennon brothers enjoying a nice day out in nature to celebrate his 51st birthday and, according to Sean, the commenter got it all wrong.

“Julian and I inherited the same amount from our dad,” he wrote. “Our trusts were equal. Although his was slightly more, but negligibly so.”

Sean is the adult son of John and wife Yoko Ono and Julian, 63, is Lennon’s eldest, from his six-year marriage to his first wife, Cynthia Lennon. The men appear to have developed a close relationship and often share pictures together on their socials, including posing together at the 2021 Los Angeles premiere of the Peter Jackson’s Beatles miniseries Get Back (see above).

Both men are musicians, with Julian scoring a pair of top 10 Billboard Hot 100 hits from his 1984 debut album, Valotte, “Too Late For Goodbyes” (No. 5) and the title track (No. 9) and releasing six more albums in the years since, including 2022’s Jude, whose title is a reference to the Beatles’ “Hey Jude,” famously written by Paul McCartney in 1968 to comfort a young Julian during his parents’ divorce.

Sean Ono Lennon has had a long, eclectic music career as a member of a number of bands, including the Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, Cibo Matto, the Claypool Lennon Delirium and the Plastic Ono Band. He’s released three solo albums to date, 1998’s Into the Sun, 2006’s Friendly Fire and 2024’s Asterisms.

Rebecca Allen is leaving Universal Music Group U.K. after 27 years, she revealed in an internal memo obtained by Billboard U.K.

The executive announced her departure in a memo to staff and said she will continue in an advisory role. She most recently served as chief artist and strategy officer, a newly created role which was first announced in 2025.

Related

Prior to that, Allen led the audience and media division and held the title of co-president at the rebooted EMI (2020-2024) alongside Jo Charrington (current president of Capitol U.K.); Allen acted as president of Decca Records from June 2017 to June 2020.

“To my friends, colleagues and Universal family, after 27 years at Universal Music, this chapter is coming to an end,” Allen said in the memo to colleagues. “I’ll be stepping away from my current role and, while I’ll remain connected to UMG in an advisory capacity, the time feels right for me to turn the page and make space for a new chapter.

“There are, of course, a lot of emotions that come with saying goodbye after so long. Mostly, I feel incredibly fortunate.”

Allen added in her memo, “Music and artists have always been at the centre of my world, and the driving force behind every decision I’ve made. To have spent 27 years working alongside such extraordinary artists, and the brilliant people who surround them, has been an enormous privilege.”

“I’ve always believed that how you do something matters just as much as what you do. Be kind. Be respectful. Be brave. Continue to push creative boundaries. Make space for brilliant people to be brilliant. Fight for the ideas you believe in. And always put the music and the artist at the heart of everything.”

“I leave enormously proud of what we’ve created together, grateful for the friendships, the adventures, the lessons and the laughter, and for 27 years that have shaped me in more ways than I probably even realise yet. It’s been quite a ride. I can’t thank you all enough for being on this journey with me. Love to you all.”

Universal Music Group U.K. did not immediately return Billboard U.K.‘s request for comment.

RAYE has blamed “AI bots” and “scalpers” for disrupting a ticket onsale after 1.8 million presale sign-ups were registered for her upcoming show at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Related

Writing on Instagram on Tuesday (Oct. 13), the British singer revealed that “hundreds of thousands of fake registrations” were recorded for the one-night-only show slated to take place on Oct. 23 at the iconic 5,000-capacity venue. At the show, RAYE is due to reimagine her hit LP This Music May Contain Hope alongside the Heritage Orchestra.

She wrote: “We received 1.8 million sign-ups for 5000 seats for This Symphony May Contain Hope. Sadly our sign-up process was overwhelmed by scalpers, using AI bots to create hundreds of thousands of fake registrations.”

RAYE added, “It is a new world we are living in now, I have never witnessed bots on this scale. It is so important to me that fans can buy tickets at the face value price.”

As a result, RAYE said her team had been forced to take extra measures to “manually review” the list to ensure that real fans were part of the resale process. “Therefore rather than risk opening a presale that scalpers could exploit, we felt the best and safest solution for this specific show was to manually review the sign-up list to identify a shortlist of people we believe are real fans,” she said.

Selected fans should have received a presale link and code by email by 11:45 a.m. BST today, with the first sale commencing at midday. Remaining tickets will then go on general sale later this week.

She concluded: “I’m not sure what the future holds for ticketing, I do know this experience has really opened my eyes. Me and my team are going to think really hard about what we can do in the future.”

This Music May Contain Hope is nominated for the Mercury Prize, which will be presented at a ceremony in Newcastle the day before the show (Oct. 22). RAYE is due to perform at the event alongside several other nominated acts including Olivia Dean and Florence + the Machine. The LP charted at No. 1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart and No. 11 on the Billboard 200.
