By debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 (dated May 30) with Iceman, Drake ups his career total of weeks at No. 1 on that chart to 38. That extends his lead as the hip-hop artist with the most weeks at No. 1 and the Canadian artist with the most weeks at No. 1.
Drake is now tied with Fleetwood Mac and The Rolling Stones, who also have each also logged 38 weeks at No. 1. Fleetwood Mac and The Stones are both in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Will Drake one day join them?
Drake’s No. 1 albums span nearly 16 years, from July 2010 to May 2026. How does that compare to The Stones and Fleetwood Mac? The hip-hop star’s span of No. 1 albums is already nearly as long as The Stones’. The rock band’s No. 1 albums span a few months more than 16 years, from August 1965 to November 1981. Fleetwood Mac’s No. 1 albums span 21 years, from September 1976 to September 1997.

A few quick notes: While Elvis Presley’s feats on the Billboard Hot 100 are shortchanged by the fact that his breakthrough in 1956 pre-dated the launch of Billboard’s flagship songs chart by more than two years, the Billboard 200 captures Presley’s entire career. His debut album, Elvis Presley, entered the chart at No. 11 in the issue dated March 31, 1956 — which was the chart’s second week.
If you count the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack (which logged 24 weeks at No. 1 in 1978) as a Bee Gees album, the trio had 31 weeks on top. Bee Gees had six tracks on the album — five of which were No. 1 hits on the Hot 100. But Billboard counts it as a multi-artist soundtrack album.

The Michael Jackson biopic Michael has grossed $788 million worldwide since its release on April 24, according to boxofficemojo.com. Michael already ranks No. 2 on Billboard’s list of music biopics with the highest worldwide grosses.
Jackson has a long history of ranking No. 1 on lists, dating back to The Jackson 5 landing their first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with “I Want You Back” in 1970, but that hasn’t been an easy task in this case. The all-time top-grossing music biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, grossed $911 million worldwide. Can Michael close that $123 million gap and overtake the Freddie Mercury biopic? It just may. It grossed $166.1 million in the past week.
According to Box Office Mojo figures, international ticket sales account for nearly 60% of Michael‘s worldwide boxoffice total to date. International is responsible for 59.4% of the boxoffice tally, with the other 40.6% coming from the U.S. and Canada.
Of note: Graham King, who co-produced Michael with longtime Jackson associates John Branca and John McClain, also co-produced Bohemian Rhapsody and a third music biopic on this list, Jersey Boys, the story of the Four Seasons.
These are the highest-grossing biopics of musicians in terms of worldwide box office. We didn’t include a few high-grossing films about real-life music personalities because the subjects are not well-known music stars in their own right. These include The Sound of Music (which tells the story of Maria von Trapp and the Trapp Family Singers); Green Book (which deals with a road trip taken by pianist and composer Don Shirley); Florence Foster Jenkins (about an heiress and hopelessly untalented soprano by that name); and Music of the Heart (about violinist and music educator Roberta Guaspari). Meryl Streep starred in the latter two films.

In an exclusive interview with Billboard Español before the set, Kali Uchis opened up about evolving beyond the Sincerely, Tour, why Mariah the Scientist was the right choice for For the Girls, and the Spanglish album she says is already finished.
What does it mean to kick off the For the Girls Tour at Sueños, one of the biggest Latin music festivals in the U.S.?
I’m really excited. I feel like every time we do the show, it’s an evolved version. I try to always make it better than last, so there’s going to be a lot of elements from the original Sincerely, Tour. I try to find ways to make it funner for me to perform.
This is my last time touring for the whole rest of the year. So I’m just going to try to give my all and do my best and then take my little break, focus on my album.
From what you’ve created for this show, what does this era say about where you are right now — both as an artist and as a woman?
It’s very cinematic. I try to play a lot with that. My show has always been a bit theatrical in a sense. We did the angel wings and the pillow fighting, and now we’re gonna do some bottle breaking. We do the gun. A lot of different things that feel very much inspired by art cinema and that theatrical type of vibe.
I changed the entrance. I used to come in on a swing, which was really fun. I’m coming in on a carriage now. Since it’s outdoors, I was like, “What can I do outdoors?” It’s like a little homage to Selena’s last show, while also making it my own. I try to always make everything I do that’s inspired by the icons feel like my own.
What made Mariah the Scientist the right artist to join you on this tour?
I love her music. I mostly listen to vintage music, but I really love Mariah’s songs. I love her songwriting. I love that she champions that, her songwriting. I think she’s an amazing, really talented girl and this tour is for the girls!
When fans enter and leave the show, what do you want For the Girls to feel like?
I want them to feel inspired. I want them to feel empowered. That’s something that I always hope for anyone who attends my show — to feel a sense of community, to feel seen through music that may have touched them or helped them through a hard time; to feel like they got to have that full experience of really being impacted in a way that shifts them in a positive way.
That’s really always my goal, for people to leave feeling inspired. I’m really somebody who came from nothing and who also didn’t have support from my family or necessarily anyone around me. I always champion being proud of yourself, who you are and where you come from, no matter what you have going on — and to be the number one supporter of yourself.
When you reflect on your career, what stays with you most?
I try to always remember where I come from, but more than anything, I feel like it’s really important for me to be very grateful for all of the changes that have happened in my life and where I am right now. But also, to use that to inspire the youth and people who might feel like giving up.
I feel like I’m where I am today because of my state of mind — I was never gonna believe the things that outwardly people wanted me to believe about myself. It was always very important for me for my inner voice to be the loudest voice.
When we caught you at Madison Square Garden, you mentioned you were working on new music. What can you share?
I have a lot of it finished, honestly. I have a whole album done. I just really want to be done with my touring and then just lock in on finalizing it and putting all those last pieces together.
Is it in English or Spanish?
Spanglish.
Selena Gomez appears to be having a blast while filming the upcoming season of Only Murders in the Building in London.
The 33-year-old singer-actress took to social media on Sunday (May 24) to share a carousel of photos, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the hit Hulu series’ sixth season.

“First week in London,” Gomez captioned the gallery on Instagram, alongside a smiling face with hearts and a U.K. flag emoji.
The Rare Beauty founder opened her post with a video of herself jumping on the viral Sabrina Carpenter “House Tour” trend, lip-syncing to the track while pointing to the multiple levels of a dessert tray while seated in a restaurant.
“House Tour” appears on Carpenter’s latest album, Man’s Best Friend, which topped the Billboard 200 in September 2025. The track peaked at No. 27 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart that same month.
Gomez’s Instagram post also included candid snapshots of the “Single Soon” hitmaker walking the streets of London, playing Scrabble, and on-set images alongside her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short, with Big Ben appearing in the background.
It was confirmed in October 2025 that Only Murders in the Building would be returning for a sixth season and set in London. The upcoming season will also mark the first time the series has filmed overseas.
“Well, looks like our fam is going to London y’all …,” the singer-actress wrote on her Instagram Story at the time. “I want to thank our community and fans of @onlymurdershulu for allowing us to even have a season 6!” she continued in a different slide, posting a photo she took of Martin and Short. “We are eternally grateful we can bring any of you any sort of joy. My deepest gratitude from Steve, Marty and myself.”
Only Murders in the Building first premiered on Hulu in 2021 and has become one of the streaming service’s most successful programs. It has received seven Emmys out of 56 total nominations in the years since.
The location of season 6 seems to correlate with the cliffhanger ending of the previous season, which closed with the main trio listening to a podcast episode — narrated by Tina Fey’s character, Cinda Canning — about a U.K. woman who allegedly murdered a descendant of the royal family before fleeing to the United States.

Caleb Shomo is opening up about his personal life.
In an emotional Instagram post on Saturday (May 23), the frontman of rock/metalcore band Beartooth came out as gay.

“There’s been a lot of speculation surrounding my personal life as of late and I feel compelled to set the record straight before it affects those I love any further,” Shomo wrote. “I am a proudly gay man.”
He continued, “This is something I’ve been unpacking and reckoning with in my life for quite some time now. It’s been difficult to navigate the feelings surrounding the subject and figure out what to do with this fact.”
Beartooth, which formed in 2012 and recently signed to Fearless Records, has scored two No. 1 albums on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums chart with 2018’s Disease and 2023’s The Surface.
The singer and multi-instrumentalist, 33, has been married to his wife, Fleur Shomo, for the past 14 years.
“I have always strived to chase who I am in the deepest part of my soul from album to album,” Caleb Shomo wrote. “As you could gather if you’ve followed the band at all in the earlier years, there are four very self-deprecating albums about exploring my religious upbringing, depression, self-hatred, self-loathing, and hopelessness. I am grateful for all these albums, yet feel embarrassed at times that I wouldn’t allow myself to really dig up the roots for so long.”
He added, “I spent a decade burying feelings with alcohol, and honestly, when I decided to put it down and focus on exploring why I felt this way for so long, it’s been a direct path to me reconciling with my sexuality in hopes that it will eventually lead me to experiencing self-love.”
Beartooth’s sixth album, Pure Ecstasy, is scheduled for release on Aug. 28 through Fearless.
“One thing I decided before I wrote a single note or lyric of the upcoming album is that whatever happens, I will express myself wholeheartedly and fully,” Shomo wrote. “Wherever it takes me I will follow and I refuse to water any part of it down, from the music, to the lyrical content, and way I portray myself. I will only do what makes me happy at the deepest level and what is the most honest depiction of who I am.”
Following his announcement, Shomo’s wife, Fleur, shared her own statement on Instagram, expressing support for him while also confirming that they are no longer together.
“I will always want to love, protect and support Caleb. I have cared more about his well-being over the years than anything else in the world,” Fleur Shomo wrote. “To see the confusion and pain he went through and the highs and lows and wanting to help but now knowing how. You never want anything more for your person than for them to just be ok.”
She added, “Our nearly 14 years of marriage was wonderful and full of so much fun, adventure & love. Nobody will know anything about our marriage like we do. And no one can ever truly know what depths of love exist between two people unless they are those people. I already miss it & my husband more than anything. Our story was a good one. And now it is done.”
