The annual Cowboys halftime entertainment segment, officially titled the Salvation Army Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show, puts a spotlight on the needs of millions during the holiday season and beyond — with the Red Kettle Campaign raising more than $3.4 billion over the past three decades. Donations provide assistance to those in need in the community in which they’re given. Information about giving help or getting help is available at SalvationArmyUSA.org.
“It’s the 30th anniversary. You’ve gotta take the bull by the horns,” Lambert — who released her 10th solo studio album,Crisco, in early October — says in the promo spot seen below that was released Sunday (Oct. 25), riding in to AT&T Stadium and revealing the halftime performance news.
In a press statement also released on Sunday, Lambert adds, “There’s something special about how music brings people together, especially when it’s to spread joy and hope to families who need it most. The Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys have built an incredible tradition with the Red Kettle Kickoff, and I can’t wait to be back home in Texas this Thanksgiving to help carry it forward.”
Lambert’s Crisco album debuted at No. 4 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums following its Oct. 2 release, continuing the singer’s unbroken run of 11 top 10s on the chart.

Past performers to headline the team’s Thanksgiving game halftime show include the late Dolly Parton, who memorably came out on the stadium field in a Cowboys cheerleaders outfit in 2023. Reba McEntire was the inaugural star to headline the show in 1997. Over the years, Destiny’s Child, Carrie Underwood, the Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez, Lainey Wilson and Post Malone were also among the artists leading the halftime entertainment for the Cowboys.

Zach Bryan’s Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs launches at No. 2 on the latest Billboard 200 with 65,500 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, SEA units comprise 59,500 (equaling 60.46 million on-demand official streams of the set’s songs; it debuts at No. 2 on Top Streaming Albums), album sales comprise 5,000 (it was only available to purchase as a standard download album; it debuts at No. 15 on Top Album Sales) and TEA units comprise 1,000. There’s a new Harry Styles music video coming up on Monday (Oct. 26) — for a song many fans have been raving about since they first heard it.
Styles is releasing a “Coming Up Roses” video.
The news comes straight from the star’s lips, live on stage at the famous Madison Square Garden, via an awfully casual and quiet announcement during night 27 of his 30-night concert residency Saturday night (Oct. 24).
Fan footage captured the moment on video, though one might need to rewatch the clip with the volume turned up high to make sure they’ve heard what they think they heard.
“‘Coming Up Roses’ video on Monday,” Styles said nonchalantly while seated at his piano in New York City on Saturday. The under-his-breath comment made the rounds online post-show, and by Sunday, the Spotify Canvas video clip for “Roses” was updated with a short clip of two sets of feet looking hesitantly ready to dance.
Later on Sunday, he made the announcement more public, posting a promo image on Instagram with the time the video will go live: “Coming Up Roses. October 26, 16:00 UK.” (That’s 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT for U.S. fans.)
The “Coming Up Roses” video is the fourth one to come from the Billboard 200 No. 1 album Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, following Styles’ visuals for Hot 100 No. 1 “Aperture,” “American Girls” and “Dance No More.”
