Sam Reid is stepping back into Lestat’s shoes — and this time, he’s taking the vampire’s music to the stage. The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only LIVE brings the actor’s season three performance to a special concert event featuring six original songs from composer Daniel Hart.

Filmed at New York City’s Beacon Theatre on June 2, the standing-room-only concert saw Reid perform in character as Lestat. The evening began with a screening of the first episode of The Vampire Lestat before the actor took the stage for the musical performance.

The six-song setlist includes music written specifically for The Vampire Lestat by Hart, including “The Loneliness” and “Brutal Love.” Hart has said “The Loneliness” is his favorite song he wrote for season three because of its varied rhythms.

The concert arrives after season three’s run and ahead of the series’ next chapter, Anne Rice’s Queen of the Damned, which was announced as season four during San Diego Comic-Con in July.

Daisy Chain Fields may be a one-day event, but the outfit possibilities are endless. Olivia Rodrigo’s inaugural festival arrives Saturday, Aug. 29, at Great Park in Irvine, California, bringing together Stevie Nicks, KATSEYE, Chappell Roan, Doechii, Mitski, Garbage, Bikini Kill, The Breeders and more for a cross-generational lineup. Tickets sold out in roughly 30 minutes, with an option to join a waitlist on the official website. But if you were one of the lucky ones to snag a pass, it’s officially time to figure out what to wear.

The festival’s name suggests a sunny palette and floral touches, but the music stretches from ’90s punk and alternative rock to contemporary pop, hip-hop and Y2K-leaning sounds. That leaves plenty of room for boho, punk and ’00s indie looks. California heat is another factor, with Los Angeles hitting the low 90s this week, so breathable pieces are key. Comfortable flats or boots make sense for grass and pavement, though a platform boot with a Stevie Nicks spirit can work. We’ve rounded up the fashion inspiration to help you build the look, including Depop’s dedicated Daisy Chain Fields festival edits spanning ’10s alt-pop, ’00s indie, ’90s punk and ’70s folk.

Daisy Chain Fields is an all-women music festival created by Olivia Rodrigo to celebrate women in music while supporting and uplifting women and girls through community, education and advocacy. The name reflects Rodrigo’s vision of individual women coming together as interconnected, stronger links in a larger chain — do we think she’ll perform “The Chain” with Stevie Nicks? Oh, I hope so.

Daisy Chain Fields begins at 10:30 a.m. and runs until 10 p.m., with 14 scheduled sets that don’t overlap (thank you, Olivia Rodrigo), across the Dandelion and Marigold stages and three special guests joining the “Vampire” singer for the closing performance.

The lineup moves through pop, indie, alternative, rock, punk, hip-hop and electronic sounds, with dedicated slots for Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, Doechii, Mitski, Katseye, Santigold, Garbage, Bikini Kill, The Breeders, Rachel Chinouriri, Die Spitz, Eli, Not For Radio and Quiet Light. Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan and Karen O are billed as special guests, with McLachlan specifically set to sing with Rodrigo after being the first person Rodrigo called when she decided to create the festival.

After more than a year of taking the Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour around the globe, Bad Bunny is bringing the trek home to Puerto Rico for two final shows.

The Puerto Rican superstar will close out the world tour with back-to-back performances at Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan on Saturday (Aug. 22) and Sunday (Aug. 23). The finale, billed as “Cerramos en Casa,” was announced Monday (Aug. 17), following weeks of speculation that Bad Bunny would add one more stop to the tour in his native Puerto Rico.

The shows sold out shortly after tickets went on sale Wednesday (Aug. 19), with more than one million fans reportedly joining the virtual queue in an effort to secure tickets.

The Puerto Rico finale brings the tour full circle for Bad Bunny. Before embarking on his global tour, the artist launched the Debí Tirar Más Fotos era with his historic “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí” residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, known as El Choli.

From there, he took the album’s world tour across five continents, bringing the show’s signature “La Casita” set to fans around the globe. Along the way, he carried a piece of Puerto Rico with him, sharing the island’s culture, music and spirit with audiences everywhere.

Now, fans who missed the initial ticket sale can still look to resale and third-party ticketing sites for last-minute seats to the sold-out Puerto Rico shows. Availability and prices can change quickly as the Aug. 22 and 23 performances approach.

How to Get Bad Bunny Finale Tickets Online

Fans looking for last-minute tickets to Bad Bunny’s sold-out Puerto Rico shows can check resale marketplaces including StubHub, SeatGeek, Vivid Seats, TicketNetwork and Gametime. Inventory, seating options and prices vary by platform, so shoppers should compare listings before purchasing.

Released in January 2025, Debí Tirar Más Fotos became another career-defining album for Bad Bunny, debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 before reaching No. 1. The project also produced “DTMF,” which returned to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 following his Super Bowl halftime performance.

For those lucky enough to have experienced the artist’s residency in summer 2025, where it all began, the love for Puerto Rico and its culture could be felt in every corner of the venue. The stands shook as thousands danced salsa and perreo, laughed with friends and captured photos they’d hold on to forever, including the singer, who made sure to take one at the end of every performance. It was clear the residency was more than a concert for the people of Puerto Rico — it was a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of home, music and the place that shaped him.

Now, as Bad Bunny prepares to return to the island, fans will get to relive that same sense of community for two final nights.

Sam Smith is being vulnerable about the support they received from one of pop music’s most enduring icons.

During a new Apple Music interview with Zane Lowe, Smith spoke about Madonna‘s influence on their career and revealed that the Queen of Pop personally reached out when the singer was facing controversy surrounding the 2022 hit “Unholy,” their collaboration with Kim Petras that famously hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Related

“Madonna is my mother,” Smith said while discussing the music they are listening to on The Zane Lowe Show. “She’s just un-f—ing-real.”

Smith went on to recall how Madonna supported them during the fallout surrounding “Unholy,” which became a lightning rod for controversy following its release and its provocative visual and live performances.

“She, the minute it happened, she made sure she got through to me,” Smith said. “And she’s so aware of queer news and what’s happening in the community, [what’s happening] to the artists within the community.”

For Smith, Madonna’s support carried particular weight because of the role the pop icon has long played in queer culture. Smith described Madonna’s music as “a lifeline to queer people,” pointing to her ability to continually reinvent herself while advocating for LGBTQ+ communities.

“You feel that in her music,” Smith said. “Her music is a lifeline to queer people and just all of the eras of her and her stamina and how she’s just always carried on and on and on. I just find it very inspiring.”

The connection between the two artists extended to the studio, as they teamed up for “Vulgar,” released in June 2023, just months after Madonna introduced Smith and Petras’ performance of “Unholy” at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

During that Grammy introduction, Madonna specifically positioned Smith and Petras as artists who had risen above criticism and controversy, making her behind-the-scenes support for Smith all the more meaningful in retrospect.

Smith’s latest comments come as they prepare to release their fifth studio album, Hazel Eyes, out this Friday. The record is a new chapter for the singer/songwriter, who has described the project as a more intimate and personal body of work centered on love, identity and artistic freedom.

While Smith is looking ahead, their admiration for Madonna remains firmly rooted in everything that came before. “I think a lot of queer people find [her music] inspiring,” Smith told Lowe. “And it’s not just a comfort in my personal life; it’s a comfort in my music.”

KATSEYE are putting their pinkies (and the rest of their digits) up as part of a new press-on nails collaboration.

The new KATSEYE x Never Have I Ever press-on nails collection brings the global girl group’s Wild era straight to your fingertips, with five statement-making designs named after — and inspired by — songs from the band’s latest EP: “Pinky Up,” “Animal,” “Hootie Frutti,” “Bel Air” and “That Way.”

The sets run the style gamut, making it easy to find a look to match your mood, from gothic-inspired artwork and quirky three-dimensional charms to bold animal prints and beachy designs. Each reusable set includes 24 handmade nails in different sizes, glue, adhesive tabs, a cuticle stick, a nail file and an alcohol pad for effortless application.

CROCKERY CHARMS

KATSEYE ‘Pinky Up’ Press-On Nails

24 Nails

Quirky 3D charms.

The most playful set in the collection, “Pinky Up” is a cheeky nod to the song about staying unbothered and brushing off the drama. Quirky charms like a teapot, fork and spoon play up the set’s signature baby-pinky-up attitude, while hot pink, blue and green give off a neon look.

Each set includes 24 handmade nails, a nail file, glue, two sheets of 15 adhesive tabs, a cuticle stick and an alcohol pad. Arrange the bonus charms to create an even bolder, more playful finish, then save the reusable set for your next KATSEYE moment.

Sultry and seductive claws.

For a look with a little more bite, “Animal” pairs vivid red with tiger-stripe patterns for a statement-making finish. Pearl accents soften the fierce print, while gold floral charms add an unexpected touch of polish. Every reusable set comes with 24 handmade nails, plus glue, a nail file, 30 adhesive tabs (kind of like nail stickers), a cuticle stick and an alcohol pad, and the bonus charms can be added wherever you like to give this wild look an elevated edge.

Cute and colorful tips.

Inspired by the song’s colorful music video, “Hootie Frutti” is the set to reach for when you’re spending the day at the beach. Coral-inspired details, ocean blues and sandy white tones create a bright, tropical palette, while pearl and diamond-inspired charms add just the right amount of shimmer without competing with the colorful artwork.

With 24 handmade nails, glue, a nail file, two sheets of 15 adhesive tabs, a cuticle stick and an alcohol pad included, you’ll have everything you need to wear the set wherever the day takes you. Keep the reusable nails on hand for your next sunny escape, and stick on the bonus charms when you’re ready for a fresh look.

KATSEYE Bel Air Press-On Nails

Dark and moody vibes.

“Bel Air” takes the collection into darker territory with a grungy, alien-core aesthetic. Cool blue and gray shades give the set an otherworldly feel, while gothic-inspired details add a slightly spooky edge. The result is a moody design — similar to the song it’s named for — that stands apart from the collection’s brighter options.

Inside, you’ll find 24 handmade nails along with glue, a nail file, 30 adhesive tabs, a cuticle stick and an alcohol pad. Play with the bonus charms to create a custom look that leans even further into the eerie, extraterrestrial vibe.

Rocker florals.

“That Way” mixes soft florals with moody black tips for a contrast that feels equal parts romantic and creepy. Pearl accents add dimension, while gold star charms bring a subtle celestial finish. The combination is perfect for anyone who likes feminine nail art with a darker twist. To make application easy, each reusable set includes 24 handmade nails, glue, a nail file, two sheets of 15 adhesive tabs, a cuticle stick and an alcohol pad. Mix up the charm placement for a personalized look, or recreate the arrangement pictured for the full effect.

The timing of the new Never Have I Ever press-on nails is especially fitting for fans, as KATSEYE will hit the road for their Wildworld tour this fall. With the North American leg kicking off in October, the press-on collection offers fans a fun way to coordinate their nails with their concert looks.

The five Wild-inspired press-on nails also complement the five band members who performed the EP after Manon Bannerman announced her temporary hiatus in February. Since the EP’s release, though, Sophia Laforteza has also stepped back from performing, leaving fans to wonder if the girl group will remain a quartet.

HUNTR/X‘s Rumi, Zoey and Mira may have worked together to deliver hits while taking down ghouls in KPop Demon Hunters, but for Sesame Street‘s Abby Cadabby, she feels most “Golden” when she and her pals support each other in their simpler but equally worthy goals.

That message of friendship is reinforced in the new music video for Sesame Street‘s parody of the Netflix animated film’s award-winning song “Golden,” which arrived Wednesday (Aug. 19). The visual kicks off with Elmo, Cookie Monster and Grover watching various screens shimmer with a golden countdown as the hopeful opening notes of the eight-week Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit begins to play. Then, with a shimmery yellow starburst, Abby appears on the screens.

“I see what I can do when I’m with my crew/ We win, when we help, help each other/ We all take pride, stand side by side/ We all support one, one another,” the little fairy-in-training sings in “Go for the Gold” as her pals Zoe and Rosita join her to support each other in various sports. “It’s a home run when you work as one, we learn and we grow as we play/ And I promise that I’ll go up to bat for you cheering all the way.”

As the trio of little muppets heads into the pre-chorus, they hold hands as they accept a trophy. “We show we care by being fair for each other, win or lose/ As one we’re strong we all belong cause our team is the family we choose,” Abby croons as Rosita and Zoe join her for the chorus. “Go for the goal goal goal/ Aim for the stars now/ You know we always play better/ When the team is working together/ We’ll reach a goal goal goal/ We’re doing fine now/ You pick me up when when I’m tired/ We’re lifting each other up higher!”

“Go for the Gold” is the second track on Sesame Street‘s Parody Party album, which Billboard exclusively announced in June. The seven-song project, which arrived July 26, also features fun takes on hits such as Chappell Roan’s Hot 100 No. 15 smash “Hot to Go,” reimagined as potty-training song “Got to Go”; Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” (No. 1) reworked as “Sort It All,” Oscar the Grouch’s ode to recycling; Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” (No. 1) transformed by Cookie Monster into “Share It Maybe”; and much more.

Brook Lynn has come a long way in America’s Got Talent.

For starters, she’s made a journey halfway around the world, from The Netherlands, to showcase her vocal talents on AGT.

And she put aside nerves to deliver a memorable and impressive audition, covering Billie Eilish’s “The Greatest.” She flicked an emotional switch during the Judges’ Callback with a performance of Evanescence’s “Bring Me To Life.”

Then, for her quarterfinals performance, which aired Tuesday night (Aug. 18), she flipped the script with a mesmerizing original song, “Love Your Enemy.” Those earlier nerves were summarily dismissed.

“Brook, that was amazing,” remarked Sofía Vergara, who along with Mel B gave Lynn a standing ovation. “I mean, I knew you could do this. You sounded so good and I can feel how confident you are tonight. It’s amazing and this is your own song. I’m so proud of you.”

The Colombian actor went on to say, “This song should be like in a Bond movie.”

Mel B agreed that Lynn’s talents and control were “amazing.” The song, she continued, was anything but a happy-go-lucky number, its darker tones connecting with herself and, likely, others. “Well done for taking that risk,” she said of the decision to perform an original.

Howie Mandel likened her route in the competition to that of a flower blossoming. “I’m so proud of you as somebody who has the soap box of mental health and I watched the struggle that you had at Sofia’s middle rounds and you just keep getting better and better. I’m so excited to be here and witness your journey.”

Simon Cowell, as he so often does, had the last word. “You wrote the song? Well you know what, good for you, because it would have been so much safer (to not). Some people would think just to do a cover version. The first time I heard it, I thought the same thing. It was like a James Bond soundtrack. You did really really good there.”

Now, America decides. A spot in the semis awaits. “It felt really amazing,” Lynn remarked after her performance. “You know, people only know me for singing covers so I’m really really grateful that I’m able to do this right now.”

Lynn was one of 11 quarterfinalists for Round 1 of the Season 21 Live Quarterfinals. Hundred Fingers head straight to the finals, after earning Mandel’s Golden Buzzer for the second time this season.

AGT airs every Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, streaming the next day on Peacock.

It’s been a great year in live music with a number of hot tours and music festivals in the books. However, there’s still plenty of time this year to go out and take in great live music performances and experiences, and there’s no place hotter than Las Vegas.

Some of music’s biggest stars, such as Backstreet Boys, have extended their Las Vegas Sphere residencies with new dates, as well as other hot recording artists, including BLACKPINK’S Lisa, Carín León, Metallica, Marc Anthony and others heading to “Sin City” in 2026. In fact, even The Eagles are back for one last run again.

Tickets to Las Vegas residencies first went on sale through Ticketmaster, while the retailer’s Face Value Exchange program is an option for fans to resell tickets — if they’re unable to attend.

However, residency dates have either sold out, or are very close to selling out, so one of the best ways to find tickets online is through third-party retailers, such as StubHub, SeatGeek, Vivid Seats, TicketNetwork, Gametime, Event Tickets Center and others. All retailers guarantee authentic tickets delivered in time before concerts start. Prices may also be above or below face value at times.
